Obituary

Hadley Ann Williams

October 7, 2026 - October 26, 2026

Hadley Ann Williams was born on October 7, 2026 at Saint Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was the daughter of Luke Williams and Kendra Mathis, both of Benton, Illinois. She passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of October 26, 2026.

While Hadley was only here for nineteen days, she left a lasting impact on all who got to meet her; especially her mommy, daddy, big brother, and big sister. She was such a sweet little baby. She had a calming presence and was pure innocence in the most perfect little package! Her mommy loved dressing her in the cutest outfits with the biggest bows! Her daddy was so proud of her, and had already given her a special name, “Haddie.” Big brother Roman loved making sure that Hadley always had her pacifier. Ella, who is only a little over a year older, enjoyed trying to kiss, and sometimes even lick her little head.

Hadley took a little piece of all our hearts with her, but she also left a big imprint on ours. She will always be missed and never forgotten! Although Roman and Ella are young enough that they may have limited memories of the time spent with her, they will always be surrounded by memories and stories of her. The family's dog Bailey also passed away within hours of Hadley’s passing. She had been her daddy’s bestie for nine years. We like to think that Bailey is now Hadley’s bestie and her little watchdog in heaven!

The family would also like to say that they are greatly appreciative and in complete awe of the support that their family, friends, and community have shown during this difficult time.

Hadley is survived by her parents, Luke Williams and Kendra Mathis from Benton, Illinois.
