Michael Eugene Stanart of McLeansboro, IL. passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Nature Trail Nursing Home, Mt. Vernon, IL.

Mike was born April 13, 1949 in Eldorado, IL. He was a son of Jim and Marjorie (Skibinski) Stanart.

Survivors include his sons; Matthew Slade (Traci) Stanart of Hoffman, Illinois and Michael Trask (Katie) Stanart of Shiloh, Illinois, grandchildren; Bryson and Mati Stanart of Hoffman, Illinois, Abel and Bodhi Stanart of Shiloh, Illinois,  Briana (Blake) Kindle of Caseyville, Illinois, Kassidy Bailey of Shiloh, Illinois and Karlee (Pierson) Garner of Fort Walton, Florida, great-grandchildren; John and Scottlynn Kindle, brother; Ron (Julie) Stanart of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, sister; Linda Stanart of San Antonio, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his wife; Aleta Stanart, parents and son; Ken Stanart

A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Digby Cemetery in Dale, Illinois.

In honor of Mr. Stanart's faithful service to his country, military honors will be held.
