About Harre Funeral Home
Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro was initiated by a group of interested citizens who felt their community needed options in funeral service. The original owner, Charles M. Johnson agreed and the wheels were in motion for construction of, in its’ day, a state of the art Funeral Home. The Funeral Home was the largest of its kind ever constructed in this area and construction, in building terms, was quickly completed in March of 1975. The business has continued to grow using the original ideas of serving the community with quality service at an affordable price.
